New from indie-pop three-piece Idolising Nova is the excellent You Told Me You Could Dance. It marks the latest stage in the development of the Peterborough-based band as they step up their studio work.

Jack from the band explained: “We recorded this track with the production duo Sugar House who have worked with a load of bands that we love, including Viola Beach and Pale Waves.

“It’s actually the first track that we’ve recorded outside of Kris’ bedroom, so we didn’t really know what to expect when we walked in to the studio – but we all worked so well together and we’re proper chuffed with the finished product. The track was then mastered by Grammy nominated Robin Schmidt (24-96 Mastering) who has mastered over 100 Top 10 singles including The 1975, Nothing But Thieves and Biffy Clyro, which helped to give it that big, punchy sound.”

Catch the guys live at one of their upcoming shows – details on their Facebook page here.
